What you’ll do

Build and customize Online Store 2.0 themes with Liquid, JSON templates, sections and blocks
Integrate apps, checkout extensibility, customer accounts and third-party systems
Implement GA4 ecommerce tracking, Google Tag Manager and server-side or consent-aware tagging
Improve Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and SEO on product and collection pages
Support migrations to Shopify from other platforms

What you bring

3+ years of Shopify development with shipped stores you can show
Strong Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript; familiarity with Shopify CLI and GitHub workflows
Experience with the Storefront or Admin API
Care for performance and accessibility

How you use AI

Use AI coding assistants to build faster, and review, test and own every line you ship
Have used AI to improve a store: product data enrichment, descriptions, search, merchandising or support
Familiar with Shopify's AI features (such as Shopify Magic and Sidekick) and their limits
Can show a before-and-after where AI made your work measurably faster or better

Nice to have

Hydrogen or headless commerce
Shopify Plus and Shopify Functions
Klaviyo integrations
