Privacy policy
Effective September 28, 2026.
This policy explains what personal information Atlanta Martech Consulting LLC (“ATL Martech”, “we”, “us”) collects through atlmartech.com, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. When we work with a client, the contract for that engagement sets out how we handle client data.
The short version
- We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical logs every website host keeps.
- We use it to reply to you. We don’t sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information at any time on our data request page.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you provide: your name, email address and message, and optionally your company, website and the services you’re interested in. Only the name, email, message and consent box are required. When you press Send, your message is stored by our hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to our inbox by our email delivery service (Resend), which also sends you a one-time confirmation with a copy of what you sent. To prevent abuse of that confirmation, we keep a one-way hash (a scrambled code that can’t be turned back into the original) of your email address and IP address for up to two days to limit how many confirmations can be sent. Resend keeps a delivery log of sent emails for a limited period.
The website assistant. The “Ask a question” assistant runs entirely in your browser and searches this site’s own FAQ and pages. Your questions aren’t sent to us or anyone else unless you choose to send one to the team, in which case it’s handled exactly like a contact form message.
Booking a call. If we send you a private booking link and you choose a time, we store your name, email address and the time you chose, and create an event with a Google Meet link on our Google Calendar. Google then emails you the calendar invite, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Technical logs. Like every web host, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records basic request data, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use these logs to identify visitors.
Analytics.
If you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. If you choose Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics doesn’t load at all. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
What we don’t collect. No account, password, payment or government ID data; no file uploads; no advertising pixels, session recording or fingerprinting. Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to font or script providers.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange a call (based on your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us).
- If we go on to work together, to prepare a proposal and deliver the engagement (to take steps toward, and perform, a contract).
- To keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest).
- To understand which pages are useful, only if you accept analytics (consent).
We don’t sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the site and our business, under contracts that limit them to that purpose: our email provider, our hosting provider (Netlify), Google (for calendar invites when you book a call), our email delivery service (Resend) and Google (analytics, only with your consent). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute. If the business is ever sold or merged, this policy continues to apply to the information we hold.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails and form messages for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they become part of a client engagement, in which case we keep them as business records for as long as the law requires. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period set by that provider.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete it;
- withdraw consent or object to how we use it.
Use the data request page or email contact@atlmartech.com. We’ll confirm we received your request, may ask you to confirm you control the email address involved, and will respond within 45 days. There’s no charge, and we won’t treat you differently for making a request. You can use an authorized agent; we’ll ask for proof that they act for you.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out. When we see it, analytics doesn’t load.
If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Information you send us is processed in the United States.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, uses strict browser security headers, and doesn’t store form submissions on its own server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a breach ever affected your information we would notify you as the law requires.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
