How we work

Audit, plan, build, improve.

Every engagement follows the same four steps, sized to your challenge. You always know what happens next, and what you’ll have at the end of each step.

Audit, plan, build, improve A four-step loop. Audit the current setup, plan the changes, build them, then measure and improve, which feeds the next audit. 01Audit02Plan03Build04Improve Measured

FAQ

Engagements: common questions

All frequently asked questions

How does an engagement start?

With a free 30-minute conversation about your goals, stack and constraints. If there's a fit, we propose a fixed scope with specific deliverables and timelines. Many engagements start with a focused audit or assessment.

How long do engagements last?

It depends on the work. Focused audits typically take one to two weeks. Implementation projects are scoped to the work involved, and some clients continue with ongoing monthly advisory and implementation. We don't do open-ended retainers without defined outcomes.

Who will actually do the work?

Senior practitioners. The people who design the plan are the people who implement it, so nothing gets lost in a hand-off.

Do you work alongside our existing agencies and team?

Yes. We often act as the connective layer between an in-house team and its agencies, so everyone works from the same plan, data and definitions.

Do you offer white-label or subcontracted work?

Yes. Agencies, consultancies and other firms can bring us in as a subcontractor on their client work, under their brand or their umbrella organization. We follow your process and reporting format, work through your team or directly with your client as you prefer, and keep the client relationship yours. Confidentiality terms go in our agreement with you.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on scope: the number of platforms and properties involved, data complexity, integrations and how much your team will run afterward. We provide fixed-scope proposals so there are no billable-hour surprises. Our guide to MarTech consulting costs explains the main drivers.
