What you’ll do

Build custom block themes, Gutenberg blocks and patterns
Develop and maintain plugins and integrations with CRMs and marketing platforms
Implement GA4, Google Tag Manager, consent tools and structured data
Improve performance, security hardening and accessibility on existing sites
Plan and run migrations and redesigns without losing search traffic

What you bring

3+ years of professional WordPress development
Strong PHP, JavaScript (including React for blocks), HTML and CSS
Experience with version control, staging workflows and managed WordPress hosting
Working knowledge of technical SEO and WCAG 2.2 AA

How you use AI

Use AI coding assistants daily, and review, test and secure what they write
Have built or integrated an AI feature in WordPress: content workflows, search, chat or editorial tools
Have used AI to speed up migrations, content audits or accessibility fixes, and can explain how you checked the output
Understand the privacy and security questions of sending site content to AI services
